This year the Conquer Cancer Foundation, a long-time supporter of Cancer.Net, celebrates the 30th anniversary of its Grants and Awards Program, which supports researchers who are working to improve the quality of cancer care that you and your loved ones receive. Through the Grants and Awards program, the Foundation works to address the full spectrum of oncology, focusing on every moment in which cancer touches people’s lives – from prevention to end-of-life care. It has awarded more than $78 million to researchers around the world in nearly every type of cancer since its inception, and these researchers are actively performing breakthrough studies and advancing cancer care. Foundation-funded studies have been featured among the top research advances of the year in a report from the American Society of Clinical Oncology and Foundation-funded researchers are known to publish study results in top medical journals and present their work at leading medical meetings around the world.
The Grants and Awards Program and the advances it has supported in cancer care would not be possible without support from individuals who believe in the Foundation’s vision to create a world free from the fear of cancer. Please make a donation and join the Foundation in its mission to support the next 30 years of cancer research.
