Richard Goldberg, MD, is the Physician-in-Chief of the James Cancer Hospital and Associate Director of the James Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Ohio State University, Columbus. Dr. Goldberg received his medical degree from Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York.
Dr. Goldberg's research is focused on four areas: 1) clinical studies in patients with GI cancers (principally colorectal cancer); 2) translational studies done on biologic specimens from patients with cancer done with laboratory collaborators; 3) development of new cancer drugs and drug combinations; and, 4) clinical trials methodology.
