Clinical trials are the main way to find new ways of treating cancer and its side effects, and each research study is a step toward the future of cancer care. That said, many people have serious questions about this treatment option. You may wonder: Is it actually safe for me? How do the costs compare to the standard treatment my doctor may recommend? How does the research process work? These questions, and more, are answered in this Cancer.Net podcast, which explains the basics of cancer clinical trials.

This is a prerecorded audio podcast, and it can be listened to online or downloaded to your computer. A transcript of this podcast is also available. For more information, visit the Cancer.Net podcast page.
