This illustration shows three major pairs of salivary glands. The parotid glands are the largest salivary glands, and are located on both sides of the face, in front of the ears. The submandibular glands are found under the jawbone at the top of the neck. The smallest salivary glands are the sublingual glands, found in the bottom of the mouth, under the tongue.
