Patient Advocate Programs at ASCO Symposia  

This section contains details on valuable educational meetings offered or co-sponsored by ASCO. These events are designed to provide educational opportunities for patient advocates involved in research advocacy.

For ASCO Symposia, discounted registration is available for patient advocates who meet specific criteria. Exhibit space is also available to patient advocacy organizations at a reduced rate. Scholarships

Scholarships for patient advocates to attend ASCO Symposia are oftentimes available through The Conquer Cancer Foundation. When funds are available, they help expenses related to travel, hotel, and registration. Scholarships are granted first come, first served, and based on financial need as well as advocacy experience. Answers to Cancer

The Conquer Cancer Foundation hosts this free educational event for the public in conjunction with the ASCO Annual Meeting in Chicago. The goal of this event is to educate patients and the public about important developments and progress in cancer. These forums are moderated events and feature a panel of cancer experts.
