For ASCO Symposia, discounted registration is available for patient advocates who meet specific criteria. Exhibit space is also available to patient advocacy organizations at a reduced rate. Scholarships
Scholarships for patient advocates are available to attend ASCO Symposia. The scholarships help cover travel, hotel, and registration expenses and are based primarily on financial need. Cancer Advances Public Fora
The ASCO Cancer Foundation hosts educational events for the public in conjunction with ASCO Symposia. The goal of these events is to educate patients and the public about important developments and progress in cancer medicine. These fora are moderated events and feature a panel of cancer experts. The next forum, Cancer Advances: A Public Forum on Breast Cancer, will take place in September 4, 2008 in Washington, DC at the Hilton Washington.
