Save the Date: National TV Special to Air on Thanksgiving, November 26, 2009

The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is pleased to announce its involvement with Kaleidoscope, a holiday entertainment variety special featuring Olympic skating champions and GRAMMY Award-winning music artists. Viewers will be thrilled with the historic return of the legendary Scott Hamilton and Dorothy Hamill matched with fellow cancer survivor Olivia Newton-John. Tune into FOX from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Eastern this Thanksgiving Day (November 26, 2009) to watch Kaleidoscope.

Kaleidoscope addresses issues surrounding women and cancer through an extraordinary collaboration with 10 advocacy partners, including ASCO. ASCO’s patient information website, Cancer.Net (www.cancer.net), is the official clinical cancer information resource for Kaleidoscope. More than 15,000 cancer survivors are expected to attend the taping of Kaleidoscope in our nation’s capital.
