Oncologist-approved cancer information from the American Society of Clinical Oncology

The ASCO Cancer Foundation Rang NYSE Closing Bell on August 19, 2009  

The ASCO Cancer Foundation and ASCO were joined by Olympic swimmer and testicular cancer survivor Eric Shanteau, to ring the New York Stock Exchange’s closing bell on August 19, 2009. Through this event, The ASCO Cancer Foundation hoped to raise awareness for the need for continued funding for cancer research, improving cancer prevention and patient care through education, and giving patients the best, most reliable cancer information.
