Advanced Cancer Care Planning

Advanced cancer is cancer that cannot be cured. However, incurable does not mean untreatable. People with advanced cancer continue to have options for treatment and can maintain a good quality of life.

Cancer.Net offers a new booklet, designed to help people with advanced cancer, their families, and their caregivers understand the diagnosis and treatment options, discuss these options for care throughout the course of the illness, and find support. Download the PDF or check back next week to order a printed copy through ASCO’s bookstore.

For more information on this topic, visit Cancer.Net’s palliative care, end of life care, and coping sections.
