Cancer Advances
Cancer Advances help inform people living with cancer about the latest advances in cancer research. This informational resource provides summaries of research advances in clinical oncology. The information presented in Cancer Advances is the same information the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) provides to cancer physicians, in consumer terms.
Information contained in Cancer Advances is not intended as medical advice or as a substitute for the treating physician's own professional judgment; nor does it imply ASCO endorsement of any product or company. Because most of the treatments discussed in these articles are not yet available for widespread use, individuals should talk with their doctor to find out if a clinical trial for which a therapy is being offered is appropriate for them.
