After treatment for an endocrine tumor ends, talk with your doctor about developing a follow-up care plan. Although there are no specific guidelines on follow-up care for an endocrine tumor, this plan may include regular physical examinations, blood tests, and/or a CT scan about three months after surgery. Follow-up care thereafter should include a physical examination and blood tests approximately every six to 12 months, with additional imaging studies (such as x-rays) to be performed on an as-needed basis.
