Paul Sabbatini, MD, is a board certified internist and medical oncologist while currently serving as Deputy Physician-in-Chief for Clinical Research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York. He earned his medical degree from The University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1989, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 1993, and a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 1997.
Dr. Sabbatini specializes in gynecologic malignancies including ovarian, uterine, and cervical cancers as well as other less common tumors. He has a particular clinical research interest in utilizing immunologic approaches in an attempt to prolong remission or prevent relapse is patients with ovarian cancer. He has been selected as one of the Castle Connolly Top Doctors for the New York Metro Area in 2011, 2012 and 2013. In addition to clinical research and patient care, he participates in several committees for the Gynecology Oncology Group.
