Below is a list of mobile applications (“apps”) for you to download or visit on your mobile phone. ACS CARES (iPhone and Android): This app from the American Cancer Society (ACS) provides personalized guidance for people with cancer and caregivers, offers opportunities to connect with trained ACS volunteers, and access to the 24/7 Cancer Helpline.

Belong – Beating Cancer Together (iPhone and Android): This app helps connect people with cancer with clinical trials and hosts online communities. It also includes an AI chatbot that can help answer questions. Free.

CaringBridge (iPhoneAndroid, and website): Visit CaringBridge pages to view and post updates by friends and family members with cancer. Free.

CancerAid (iPhone and Android): The app lets you keep track of your diagnostic and treatment information, access medically reliable information to learn more about your condition, track and manage your side effects, nominate your care team and gain access to a motivational community. Free.

NCCN Patient Guides for Cancer (iPhone and Android): NCCN Guidelines for Patients® are easy-to-understand resources based on the same clinical practice guidelines used by health care professionals around the world to determine the best way to treat people with cancer. Free.

LUNGevity Lung Cancer Navigator (Android): The Lung Cancer Navigator app is a highly engaging mobile application that helps patients manage their lung cancer diagnosis. It provides support, guidance, and more to patients and caregivers navigating the journey from diagnosis to successful treatment of lung cancer. Free.

Focus on Lymphoma (iPhone and Android): Focus on Lymphoma provides comprehensive information and tools to patients and caregivers to help them understand their lymphoma diagnosis and manage their cancer treatment. The app provides the most up-to-date information and resources on lymphoma from the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Free.

Apps To Help Quit Smoking

SmokefreeTXT (smartphone not required): This mobile service designed for teens provides text messages with encouragement, advice, and tips to quit smoking. Free, but text message rates apply. (Developed by the National Cancer Institute)
