If you’ve been through a cancer diagnosis and treatment, you likely live with some concern about the possibility of the cancer coming back, which is called a recurrence. It’s important to first recognize that the fear of recurrence is a completely normal emotion for people to experience. But the good news is, there are plenty of helpful ways to cope with this fear.
