Dr. Kedar Kirtane is an Assistant Member and Medical Oncologist at Moffitt Cancer Center with a focused interest in the treatment of head, neck, and endocrine malignancies.  He received a B.S. degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and an M.D. degree from University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida.  He completed an internal medicine residency at Duke University, a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of Washington, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.  

He is involved with clinical research in patient-reported outcomes and new cellular therapy in people with solid tumors. He is heavily involved with cellular therapy clinical trials and has received grant support for patient-reported outcome projects involving patients with head and neck cancer. He is strongly dedicated to improving the representation of underrepresented minorities in oncology clinical trials.
