Skin Cancer (Non-Melanoma) - Symptoms and Signs

People with a basal cell or squamous cell carcinoma may experience the following symptoms. Sometimes, people with non-melanoma skin cancer do not have any of these changes. Or, the cause of a symptom may be another medical condition that is not cancer.

Vulvar Cancer - Symptoms and Signs

Women with vulvar cancer may experience the following symptoms or signs. Sometimes, women with vulvar cancer do not have any of these changes. Or, the cause of a symptom may be a different medical condition that is not cancer.

  • A lump or growth in or on the vulvar area

  • A patch of skin that is differently textured or colored than the rest of the vulvar area

Vaginal Cancer - Symptoms and Signs

Precancerous conditions, such as VAIN (see Introduction), and early-stage vaginal cancer do not often cause symptoms in the early stages. Cancer in later stages can cause symptoms. Many cases of VAIN and early vaginal cancer can be found through regular gynecologic examinations or Pap tests (see Diagnosis).

Thymoma - Symptoms and Signs

Some people with thymoma experience symptoms, but many do not. Below is a list of common signs or symptoms that may appear with thymoma or thymic carcinoma.

People with thymoma may experience the following symptoms or signs. Sometimes, people with thymoma do not have any of these changes. Or, the cause of a symptom may be another medical condition that is not cancer.       

  • Persistent cough

Testicular Cancer - Symptoms and Signs

Men with testicular cancer may experience a variety of symptoms or signs. Sometimes, men with testicular cancer do not have any of these changes. Or, the cause of a symptom may be another medical condition that is not cancer. So, having these symptoms does not mean that a man definitely has cancer.

Small Bowel Cancer - Symptoms and Signs

  • Blood in the stool (feces)

  • Dark/black stools

  • Diarrhea

  • A lump in the abdomen

Rhabdomyosarcoma - Childhood - Symptoms and Signs
